The changing face of Youth Football in the SFL has seen a number of players released as clubs re-shape to cater for new groups and the implementation of a Reserve League and one of the youngsters that was let go is determined to bounce straight back.
Sixteen year old Chris O’Neil was with Motherwell for six and a half seasons before joining Partick Thistle last Christmas in a bid to win a full time deal and he is on the lookout again saying, “I was playing right rack until last month and then all of the boys were released at my age group. I am a committed, dedicated and determined team player and I am looking for a new team already.”
“Hopefully the experience I have gained will stand me in good stead."
