Livingston youngster David Aitken is hoping that an impressive medal haul will help him find a new club after being released by the Lions despite picking up five successive Under-19 League winners medals.
The 18-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield said, “I have been playing at an under-19 level since I was 14. Livingston have won the league title five years in a row and I have picked up a medal every season.”
“I have been at the club since I was ten so it is disappointing to be leaving but I want to keep on playing and hopefully will get a new club soon.”
