Pollock on way back

Comeback pencilled in for Rovers striker

Marc PollokAlbion Rovers forgotten forward Marc Pollock has had his long awaited comeback from a knee injury pencilled in for January, some two years after he was injured in an indoor game at the Toryglen complex.

The 24 year old has battled back from a cruciate injury and is now undertaking in full training sessions with his Coatbridge team-mates with manager Paul Martin advising, “Marc was one of the quickest players in our team just before he got injured and it has been a long way back for him but he has stuck at it. We are all hoping that he can get back to playing early next year and if he gets back to his best he will be a very useful addition to our squad.”
