Premier Sports Cup Final: Fan Information

Guidance and stadium information ahead of Sunday's showpiece match

Ahead of tSunday's Premier Sports Cup Final, supporters are asked to note the following important information and guidance.

The Scottish Professional Football League calls on supporters to enjoy this showpiece occasion in a safe and responsible manner. The area around Hampden Park is a residential area. Please respect our neighbours when travelling to and from the game.

We appeal to fans of both clubs to enjoy the matchday experience at the National Stadium but to do so in a manner that does not endanger the safety of their fellow supporters, playing staff, match officials or that has the potential to disrupt the match.

The use of pyrotechnics is illegal. That message has been reiterated in the strongest possible terms by the police and football safety authorities, and reinforced by the SPFL and Scottish FA, during operational meetings with the participating clubs this week.

The safety, security and enjoyment of tens of thousands of fans who will fill the National Stadium this weekend is paramount and there will be a range of steps put in place to help identify anyone who transgresses, including additional security measures and CCTV surveillance.

Supporter Information

  • Please arrive early to avoid queueing on entry - turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick off
  • Enhanced searching will be in place at the turnstiles and we ask all supporters to please cooperate with stewards and police.
  • Supporters are reminded that the use of pyrotechnics and smoke devices is illegal and dangerous. Additional measures will be in place to detect pyrotechnics and other illegal items
  • Bags and person searches will be conducted at the turnstiles. No bags larger than A4 should be brought to the stadium.
  • Hampden is now a cashless stadium at all kiosks and in all hospitality areas, so you will need to use a credit or debit card to make any purchase within the stadium

Ticket and Travel Information

Tickets will have a barcode on them, watch this instructional video to find out more about how to use the turnstile system. We would especially encourage this for supporters who are making their first trip to Hampden.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Persons attending events at Hampden Park should be aware that the area immediately surrounding the stadium is mainly residential and the availability of on-street parking is extremely limited due to event specific parking restrictions. Parking Wardens will be on duty patrolling the restricted areas.

On event day, we would advise persons attending Hampden Park where possible to use public transport to get to and from the stadium, if not travelling by organised coach/bus.

If you're heading to the stadium on public transport then Traveline Scotland provides up-to-date, live time information and journey planners. If you are unsure of the best route to the stadium, then please check out this guide: How to get to Hampden
