Falkirk progressed to the last 16 thanks to a 4-0 home win over The Spartans while Cove Rangers' hopes of qualifying were ended by a 2-1 defeat to Queen's Park at Lesser Hampden.

Group B
Partick Thistle made it four wins from four, beating Ross County 3-1 in Dingwall to knock out the Staggies. Stranraer defeated Queen of the South 1-0 in the other game.

Group C
Alloa Athletic triumphed 3-2 with a last-minute winner at Airdrieonians to top the group with a 100% record as the Diamonds just missed out on the last 16. Dundee thrashed Montrose 5-0 at Dens Park.

Group D
Forfar Athletic beat Arbroath 1-0 at Station Park while St Mirren host group leaders Ayr United on Sunday, live on Premier Sports kick-off 3.00pm.

Group E
Hearts had already sealed top spot. Dunfermline Athletic's 2-0 home victory over Stirling Albion means they will also qualify if Ayr beat St Mirren on Sunday. Dumbarton defeated Hamilton Accies 1-0 at Broadwood.

Group F
St Johnstone thrashed Elgin City 8-0 at McDiarmid Park to finish top with a 100% record. Raith Rovers saw off Inverness CT 5-1 at Stark's Park in the other game.

Group G
Motherwell were already assured of first place and Greenock Morton will join them in the last 16 following a 3-0 win against Clyde at Cappielow. Stenhousemuir beat Peterhead 1-0 at Ochilview.

Group H
Kilmarnock's 4-0 home win over East Fife saw them through as group winners and Livingston's 6-0 thrashing of Kelty Hearts means they qualify as one of the three best runners-up.
