St Johnstone are the current holders, having won both domestic cups last season
Dundee have won the trophy on three occasions, most recently in 1973/74

Rangers have won the League Cup a record 27 times but not since 2010/11
Livingston lifted the trophy in 2003/04 and were runners-up last season
Rangers beat Livingston 3-0 at Ibrox on the opening day of the cinch Premiership
Livingston knocked out St Mirren on penalties in the last 16 while Rangers beat Dunfermline 5-0
Celtic v Raith Rovers – Thursday, Premier Sports 1, ko 7.45pm
Celtic have won the League Cup on 19 occasions, most recently against Rangers in 2019/20
Raith Rovers beat Celtic on penalties in the 1994/95 final after a 2-2 draw at Ibrox
The last meeting of the sides was a 2-0 League Cup win for Celtic in September 2015
Rovers knocked out Aberdeen in the last round of the competition while Celtic saw off Hearts
Dundee United v Hibernian – Thursday, Premier Sports 2, ko 7.45pm
United have won the League Cup twice – against Aberdeen in 1979/80 and Dundee in 1980/81
Hibernian have claimed the trophy three times, most recently against Kilmarnock in 2006/07
The last meeting of the teams was a 2-0 win for Hibs in the Scottish Cup semi-final in May
Dundee United beat Ayr United on penalties in the last 16 while Hibs knocked out Kilmarnock

In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time of 30 minutes (i.e. 15 minutes each way) will take place and thereafter, if necessary, kicks from the penalty mark
