The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) has today announced the finalised schedule for the quarter-finals of the 2025/26 Premier Sports Cup.
Dates for Kilmarnock v St Mirren and Aberdeen v Motherwell were published last week and the full line-up and broadcast arrangements for the last-eight ties have now been confirmed.
All four matches will be shown live on Premier Sports or the Premier Player across the weekend of September 19-21, with a place in the semi-finals on the weekend of November 1/2 at stake. Extra time then penalties, if required, will settle the outcome if scores are level after 90 minutes. The final of this season’s competition is scheduled for Sunday December 14.
The action gets under way on Friday September 19 when 2012 League Cup winners Kilmarnock, who beat Dundee United in the last 16, take on 2013 winners St Mirren, who progressed to this stage thanks to a penalty shoot-out victory over Heart of Midlothian in Paisley. The game is live on the Premier Player with a 7.45pm kick-off at the BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park.
Scottish Cup holders Aberdeen and Motherwell meet at Pittodrie on Saturday September 20, live on the Premier Player, kick-off 3.00pm. Later that day, it’s Rangers against Hibernian at Ibrox, with the match broadcast live on Premier Sports, kick-off 5.45pm.
The final game of the weekend takes place on Sunday September 21 when Partick Thistle, the only William Hill Championship side still in the competition, host current holders Celtic. That one is live on Premier Sports, with a 3.30pm kick-off at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
