The SPFL has today published the fixture details for the last 16 of the 2025/26 Premier Sports Cup, with all eight matches to be shown live on the Premier Sports 1 linear channel or streamed on the Premier Sports Player.
Holders Celtic will begin the defence of their trophy at home to Falkirk – a repeat of last season’s quarter-final – on Friday August 15, live on Premier Sports 1, kick-off 7.45pm.
Premier Sports 1 will also show Rangers v Alloa Athletic on Saturday August 16, kick-off 5.45pm, followed by the draw for the quarter-finals, which will be played on the weekend of September 20/21. Alloa’s progression to the last 16 means their William Hill League 1 game at Kelty Hearts has been postponed – a new date will be confirmed in due course.
Four matches will be streamed live on the Premier Sports Player on Saturday August 16 at 3.00pm – Greenock Morton v Aberdeen, Partick Thistle v Ayr United, St Johnstone v Motherwell and St Mirren v Heart of Midlothian.
The remaining last-16 ties – Kilmarnock v Dundee United and Livingston v Hibernian – are scheduled for Sunday August 17 as Dundee United and Hibernian will be involved in UEFA Conference League qualifying round three matches on Thursday August 14.
