A round up of Tuesday's cup action

Motherwell secured their place in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup after a 3-0 victory over Greenock Morton thanks to a brace from Tawanda Maswanhise.

Group A  
Falkirk continue to lead the way after a 3-1 win over Queen's Park. Brian Graham scored his first for the Bairns after Ethan Ross had hit a double. Cove Rangers recorded a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Brechin City.

Group B  
Ronan Hale and Ross County enjoyed a memorable night as the Nothern Ireland international's hat-trick helped the Staggies to an 8-0 thrashing of William Hill League 2 side Edinburgh City. However it is Partick Thistle who top the section after a 2-0 win over Queen of the South.

Group C  
Steven Pressley's Dundee defeated Bonnyrigg Rose 3-1 but the William Hill Premiership side were made to work for their three points. Montrose and Airdrieonians meet on Wednesday evening (kick off 7.15pm).

Group D  
Ayr United will have the chance to secure progression in the final game of the group stage after a 3-0 home win over Forfar Athletic. The Honest Men face second place St. Mirren on Sunday, LIVE on Premier Sports. Arbroath were 6-0 winners over Annan Athletic in the group's other game.

Group E  
An own goal from Lee Kilday saw Dunfermline Athletic edge out Hamilton Academical at East End Park with Neil Lennon's side winning 2-1. Heart of Midlothian will bring their group stage campaign to an end at home to Dumbarton on Wednesday (kick off 7.45pm).

Group F  
St. Johnstone boosted their chance of progression as Jamie Gullan's strike against his old side helped Saints see off Raith Rovers 3-1 in Perth. Inverness CT hit East Kilbride for six as the Highlanders ran out 6-2 winners.

Group G  
Motherwell are guaranteed to win Group F after their 3-0 win over nearest challengers Greenock Morton. Clyde secured a bonus point after a 2-2 draw with Stenhousemuir.

Group H  
Kilmarnock remain top of their section but it was Kelty Hearts who claimed the bonus point after a 0-0 draw in Fife. Stuart Kettlewell's team host East Fife in their final group game with Dick Campbell's outfit running out 3-0 winners over Brora Rangers. Livingston host Kelty Hearts on Saturday in their last game.
