Premiership Top Six Final Day

Dundee United claim fourth spot in dramatic finish

James Forrest scored an injury-time equaliser as champions Celtic lifted the William Hill Premiership trophy following a 1-1 draw with St. Mirren.

Jonah Ayunga had given Saints the lead to give the Buddies hopes of a second consecutive European trip but it was not to be as results elsewhere changed the landscape.

Dundee United secured fourth place after a second-half comeback saw Jim Goodwin's team beat Aberdeen 2-1 at Tannadice. Jeppe Okkels gave the Dons the lead but Declan Gallagher and Sam Dalby found the net to give United three points which saw them finish above Aberdeen on goal difference.

Martin Boyle marked his new Hibernian contract with a goal in a 2-2 draw with Rangers. Cyriel Dessers opened the scoring before Kieron Bowie equalised. Nico Raskin put Rangers ahead with Boyle drawing the hosts level.
