Raith Rovers fans have the chance to raise funds for their club by buying an original ‘Classic’ Rovers first team strip from a choice of five, ranging from an away shirt from the 1970’s to a goalkeeping jersey from just over 10 years ago.
The shirts that have been donated by Club Photographer Tony Fimister include a 1978-79 number 10 white away shirt which was manufactured by Bukta, as well as a blue home and a red away top worn during season 1984-85 and these pin-striped strips bear the name of sponsor Mazda.
A number 15 white away strip from season 1999-2000 is also available as is the Goalkeepers number 1 jersey from the same season worn by Guido Van de Kamp with these jerseys being sponsored by FiFab and produced by TFG.
The shirts are being auctioned off on an individual basis until 10.00pm on Thursday, December 8 with Van de Kamp’s jersey gaining the most attention so far with the highest bid at the moment of £320.
