Aberdeen were defeated in their opening Europa Conference League Group G clash, losing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.
The Dons fell behind to a penalty from Omar Marmoush in the 11th minute before Dante Polvara scored an equaliser after 22 minutes.
Frankfurt, who won the Europa League in 2022, regained their lead as Robin Koch headed home from a corner.
Aberdeen face Ross County at home on Sunday in the cinch Premiership. The club's next European match is against HJK Helsinki at Pittodrie on Thursday 5 October.
PAOK Salonika were 3-2 winners against HJK in Group G's other opening match.
