Rangers beat Hearts, four for Forrest

Impressive victories for Rangers and Celtic on Sunday afternoon

Rangers inflicted a first defeat of the season on Ladbrokes Premiership leaders Hearts with a 3-1 victory at Ibrox.

Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield all scored in the first half and the visitors had Michael Smith sent off before Jimmy Dunne pulled one back.

In the later game, Celtic thrashed St Johnstone 6-0 at McDiarmid Park, with James Forrest scoring four first-half goals for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Odsonne Edouard was also on target before the break and Callum McGregor added a late sixth after Saints had Danny Swanson sent off.
