Rangers defeated Russian side FC Ufa 1-0 in the first leg of their Europa League play-off tie at Ibrox

Former Brighton defender Connor Goldson scored the only goal for Steven Gerrard's side, who remain unbeaten this season.

Celtic drew 1-1 with Suduva in Lithuania, with Olivier Ntcham on target for Brendan Rodgers' men.

The second legs take place on Thursday August 30, with the group stage draw the following day.
