Cyriel Dessers scored an injury-time equaliser as Rangers drew 1-1 with Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Champions League Third Round Qualifying first leg.
Andriy Yarmolenko scored the opening goal of the match in Lublin, Poland, as he tapped the ball home at the back post from Vladyslav Vanat’s cross.
Ross McCausland had struck the post in the first half while Dessers was denied in the second period as the Scottish side searched for a precious goal.
It arrived five minutes into added time as Dessers prodded home from Vaclav Cerny’s delivery to leave the tie level heading into the second leg at Hampden Park on Tuesday 13 August.
The winner of the tie will take on either Salzburg or FC Twente in the play-off round.
