Rangers earn draw in Spain

Rangers kicked off their Europa League Group G campaign with a 2-2 draw against Villarreal on Thursday evening.

Steven Gerrard's side were twice behind but equalised through Scott Arfield and Kyle Lafferty to earn an impressive point in Spain.

Their next match in the section is at home to Rapid Vienna - who beat Spartak Moscow 2-0 in the other game - on Thursday October 4.
