Michael Beale’s men lead 2-1 from the first leg thanks to goals from James Tavernier and Cyriel Dessers.
The winners will face PSV Eindhoven or Sturm Graz in the play-off round, with the Dutch side 4-1 up from the first leg.
The losers go into the group stage of the Europa League.
