Rangers earned a stunning 4-2 victory away to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Europa League knock-out round play-off on Thursday evening.
Captain James Tavernier gave them a 38th-minute lead from the penalty spot and Alfredo Morelos quickly added the second goal with a tap-in.
John Lundstram struck shortly after half-time then Jude Bellingham quickly pulled one back, only for an own goal from Dan-Axel Zagadou to make it 4-1 Rangers with 54 minutes played.
Raphael Guerreiro scored a late second for Dortmund but Rangers go into next Thursday’s second leg at Ibrox in a very strong position to go on and reach the last 16.
Meanwhile, Celtic went down 3-1 at home to Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of their Europa Conference League play-off tie.
