Rangers take the points at Tannadice

Rangers beat Dundee United 1-0 in Sunday's William Hill Premiership match to move up to third place in the table after five rounds of fixtures.

Tom Lawrence scored the only goal of the game as Philippe Clement's side got the better of Jim Goodwin's team in the lunchtime kick-off.

Next up for Rangers is a Premier Sports Cup quarter-final against Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday while Dundee United travel to Motherwell for their last-eight tie on Friday evening.
