Elgin City manager Ross Jack looks set to unleash six foot eight inch striker Paul Miller on a Rangers XI at Borough Briggs tonight. The RAF Fireman came on as a second half substitute against Ross County at the weekend and Jack is keen to see what Miller can do against a visiting Ibrox side that will contain players with first team experience.
Jack said, “Paul is a handful for any team and he was part of a great second half performance against Ross County. He is new to this level of football and playing against full time players will bring him on even more”
Despite their 2-1 defeat to Derek Adams’ side in the ALBA Challenge Cup Jack was upbeat saying, “We deserved at least a draw but a couple of key things went against us. I am sure Jimmy Scott used his arm for County’s first goal and we had a late equaliser ruled out that looked on-side to me. In saying that it is a performance that gives us heart for the season ahead.”
The game against Rangers kicks off at 7.45pm and cash turnstiles will be open with adult prices set at £10 and £10 with concessions £6 and £4.
