Arbroath defender Alan Rattray has left the Third Division Champions to join Peterhead after three and a half years at Gayfield however, Arbroath boss Paul is hoping that a replacement is on his way.
The 32 year old Rattray had enjoyed a 12 year spell at Forfar before joining the Red Lichties and he helped them to promotion via the Play-Offs in 2008 and then the title last season.
Sheerin said, “Alan has been made a really good offer by Peterhead and we cannot argue with him moving on. I wish him well but I am hoping that we will be adding to our squad soon.
