Arbroath’s top goalscorer from last season Steven Doris has agreed a new deal with the Red Lichties for next season.
The 23-year-old, who has been at Gayfield since leaving St Johnstone 3 years ago, scored 21 goals last season and manager Paul Sheerin said, “Steven signed before going off on holiday and I am really pleased with that. Other clubs both full and part-time were after him so it is great that he has chosen to remain with us.”
Defender Mick Dunlop has agreed to join Third Division Stranraer following his release from Brechin City last month. The 29-year-old former Ayr United, Queen’s Park, Dumbarton and Alloa player had a number of options to consider, however he has opted for the Stair Park side.
Blues boss Keith Knox also completed the paperwork to re-sign long serving striker Michael Moore who has scored 92 goals for the club in three different spells.
