Albion Rovers have received a double boost with defenders Alan Reid and Michael McGowan agreeing to sign again for the new season. The Cliftonhill side lost centre back Mick O’Byrne to Livingston at the weekend leaving manager Paul Martin delighted at the duo’s decision to stay at Albion.
Martin said, “Losing Mick has left us a wee bit short at the back so I am pleased that both of these guys are staying on. They are still young and have the opportunity to develop into fine footballers.”
