The meeting between Annan and Queen’s Park at Galabank next week will determine who takes the last place in this season’s SPFL Reserve League Cup semi-finals.
Cowdenbeath and Alloa Athletic have qualified from the East Section, with Morton already through from the West but a two-goal win for Annan would send them through at the expense of the Spiders.
The winners from both groups face the runners up in the semi-finals with no definitive tie known at this stage, as a point for Queen’s Park would take them above the Greenock side.
