Rangers hit Motherwell for six while Killie and United both net five

Rangers are top of the SPFL Reserve League after thrashing Motherwell 6-2 at the Hummel Training Centre on Monday.

Substitute Dapo Mebude scored a second-half hat-trick for the Light Blues, with Cameron Palmer, Eros Grezda and Andrew Dallas also on target.

Kilmarnock are in second spot after Kris Boyd and Rory McKenzie netted doubles in the 5-0 win over Aberdeen at Balmoral Stadium.

Dundee United saw off Falkirk 5-1 at St Andrews University, helped by a Declan Glass hat-trick, while Partick Thistle edged out St Mirren 1-0 at Lesser Hampden with a goal from substitute Dean Watson.

James Keatings bagged a brace as Hamilton Accies beat Queen of the South 3-1 at the Hope CBD Stadium while Ross County overcame St Johnstone 2-1 at Kelty's New Central Park. Liam Gordon gave Saints an early lead but Davis Keillor-Dunn and Tom Kelly replied for the Staggies.

Morton beat Celtic 3-1 at Cappielow on Tuesday afternoon thanks to first-half goals from Blair Docherty, Alexander Easdale and Reece Lyon.
 
In Reserve League 2, Airdrieonians saw off Stirling Albion 4-1 at the Penny Cars Stadium on Monday evening. There are two games tonight - East Kilbride host Ayr United and Livingston play Albion Rovers then leaders Queen's Park meet Berwick Rangers at Lesser Hampden on Wednesday.
