Peterhead defender Dean Richardson will resume full training this week just two months after he was hit by a car.
It was thought that the injuries would rule the 26-year-old out for the season but the former East Stirlingshire player has made a speedy recovery and is expected to be told he can be involved in contact work this week.
Balmoor boss Jim McInally said: “Dean has been popping into our games and kept in close contact with the squad throughout. Everyone will be delighted to see him with a pair of boots on again.”
