Bottom club Ross County moved to within a point of Dundee at the foot of the table thanks to a 1-0 win over Hibernian in the cinch Premiership on Wednesday night.
Blair Spittal scored the only goal for the Staggies with 18 minutes left at the Global Energy Stadium as Hibs suffered a fifth straight league defeat.
Jack Ross' side, who beat Rangers at Hampden on Sunday, had Christian Doidge sent off late on and Martin Boyle received a red card after the final whistle.
