Raith Rovers fans will have the chance to purchase two pieces of the Kirkcaldy club’s history after the Championship club opted to make a DVD of their victorious Ramsdens Cup campaign.
The Fife side are also next week launching an away strip that will honour the sacrifice players at the club made during the First World War.
Raith have created a special black and green Hunting Stewart tartan strip to mark the formation of McCrae’s Battalion that was made up of seven Kirkcaldy-based players, along with footballers from Hearts and other clubs.
Instead of a sponsors’ logo on the chest, there will be the word ‘Remember’ and a tribute to McCrae’s Battalion.
A club spokesperson said: “There has been a lot of interest in the away strip since we publicised the iconic design in January. There will be news next week over the imminent launch.
“We are also taking our time to make a DVD production that every supporter will want to own, and season ticket holders will be able to purchase this at a discounted price.”
