Montrose could celebrate a comprehensive 5-1 away win over Edinburgh City while Alloa Athletic claimed the bragging rights with a 2-0 derby victory against rivals, Stirling Albion. Kelty Hearts remain in fourth place after a 2-2 draw with Annan Athletic.
Peterhead remain top of cinch League 2 after they got the better of East Fife 2-0 at Balmoor. Dumbarton remain hot on their heels as they won 4-0 against Bonnyrigg Rose as do The Spartans following a 2-1 away win over Clyde. Stenhousemuir are the final side in the promotion play-off spots thanks to a 3-1 success away to Forfar Athletic and Stranraer can celebrate three points thanks to a 3-1 home win against bottom side Elgin City.
