A good day for the league leaders in all four divisions of the SPFL

Hearts remain five points clear in the Ladbrokes Premiership after beating St Johnstone 2-1 at Tynecastle. Peter Haring and Jimmy Dunne got the goals for Craig Levein's men before Ross Callachan pulled one back. David Gray was the matchwinner as Hibernian defeated St Mirren 1-0 in Paisley to move up to second place while Kilmarnock are third following a 3-1 home victory over Motherwell. Reigning champions Celtic beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Parkhead thanks to a Scott Sinclair goal and Dundee got their first win, beating Hamilton Accies 2-0 at the Hope CBD Stadium.

Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ayr United thrashed Morton 5-1 at Cappielow, with Craig Moore and Lawrence Shankland both scoring twice. Billy Mckay hit a hat-trick as Ross County thumped Dundee United 5-1 at Tannadice to go second while Inverness CT are third after a 0-0 home draw with Queen of the South. Zak Rudden's double earned bottom club Falkirk a 2-0 win at Alloa.

Arbroath came from behind to beat Airdrieonians 3-1 at Gayfield and stay four points clear in Ladbrokes League 1. John McGlynn marked his return to Raith Rovers by guiding them to a 5-1 victory at Dumbarton while East Fife saw off bottom club Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Bayview. It was 2-2 in the Angus derby between Montrose and Forfar Athletic at Links Park while it was 1-1 between Brechin City and Stranraer at Glebe Park.

Edinburgh City remain two points clear at the summit of Ladbrokes League 2 after a 1-0 win over Cowdenbeath at Ainslie Park. Closest challengers Peterhead won 3-1 at Annan and Clyde hit back from two goals down to defeat Berwick Rangers 3-2 at Shielfield. Elgin City beat Queen's Park 2-1 at Borough Briggs and bottom club Albion Rovers got their first victory, 3-0 at home to Stirling Albion.
