Arbroath came from behind to beat Airdrieonians 3-1 at Gayfield and stay four points clear in Ladbrokes League 1. John McGlynn marked his return to Raith Rovers by guiding them to a 5-1 victory at Dumbarton while East Fife saw off bottom club Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Bayview. It was 2-2 in the Angus derby between Montrose and Forfar Athletic at Links Park while it was 1-1 between Brechin City and Stranraer at Glebe Park.

Closest challengers Peterhead won 3-1 at Annan and Clyde hit back from two goals down to defeat Berwick Rangers 3-2 at Shielfield. Elgin City beat Queen's Park 2-1 at Borough Briggs and bottom club Albion Rovers got their first victory, 3-0 at home to Stirling Albion.
