Hibernian took a big step towards securing a top-six place with a 2-0 win over Motherwell at Easter Road in the Ladbrokes Premiership. Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by Kilmarnock at Ibrox and it was also 1-1 between Aberdeen and Livingston at Pittodrie. Hamilton Accies moved six points clear of the relegation zone with a 1-0 home victory over Hearts.
In the only Ladbrokes Championship game to beat the weather it finished 1-1 between Falkirk and Partick Thistle at the Falkirk Stadium.
Arbroath are now 13 points clear in Ladbrokes League 1 after beating East Fife 2-1 at Gayfield while Forfar Athletic are up to second spot thanks to a 2-1 victory over Raith Rovers at Station Park. Stranraer defeated bottom club Stenhousemuir 1-0 at Ochilview.
In Ladbrokes League 2, Edinburgh City's title hopes suffered a major blow as they went down 3-1 to fourth-placed Annan Athletic at Galabank and it was also 3-1 for Clyde against Stirling Albion at Broadwood. David Galt hit a hat-trick in the space of five second-half minutes as Queen's Park beat Elgin City 4-1 at Hampden.
