Cove Rangers stay five points clear in Ladbrokes League 2 after scoring three times in the last 12 minutes to see off bottom club Brechin City 3-0 at the Balmoral Stadium. Second-placed Edinburgh City hit back to edge out Albion Rovers 3-2 at Ainslie Park. Cowdenbeath, in third, beat Queen's Park 1-0 at Central Park and Stirling Albion defeated Annan Athletic 2-0 at Forthbank.

Partick Thistle booked their place in the last four of the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Cup with a 4-1 win over Stenhousemuir at Ochilview. Inverness CT progressed on penalties after a 0-0 draw with Clyde at the Caledonian Stadium while Rangers Colts beat Wrexham 2-0 at Ibrox.
