Round-up of today's games in the Betfred Cup and Leagues 1 & 2

Livingston thumped Ayr United 4-0 at the Tony Macaroni Arena, with all the goals coming in the first half while St Johnstone came from behind to beat Motherwell 2-1 at Fir Park. Dunfermline Athletic saw off Championship rivals Arbroath 3-1 at Gayfield. Alan Trouten's extra-time penalty earned Alloa Athletic a 1-0 win over Heart of Midlothian at the Indodrill Stadium and St Mirren also upset the odds in the evening game when they beat Aberdeen 2-1 in Paisley.

Cove Rangers missed the chance to go back to the top of League 1 after a 1-1 draw away to third-placed Airdrieonians while Partick Thistle were 1-0 winners at Montrose and Forfar Athletic beat Peterhead by the same score at Balmoor to move off the foot of the table at the expense of East Fife, whose game with Clyde was postponed due to Coronavirus.

Queen's Park rallied to beat Stenhousemuir 3-1 at Hampden Park and stay four points clear in League 2. Kane Hester hit a hat-trick as Elgin City welcomed back fans with a 5-2 victory over Cowdenbeath at Borough Briggs to stay second. Third-placed Stirling Albion won 1-0 at Albion Rovers and Stranraer are fourth after a 4-1 triumph away to bottom club Brechin City. Edinburgh City leapfrogged Annan Athletic with a 4-0 win at Galabank.
