Dumbarton moved out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 win over Clyde at Broadwood and bottom club East Fife ended their goal drought with a 3-1 success at Alloa Athletic.
In the day's only cinch League 2 game, Stranraer beat Elgin City 2-1 at Borough Briggs. Edinburgh City defeated Stirling Albion 1-0 at Ainslie Park on Friday to remain in fourth place.
