Ross County were held to a 1-1 draw at Highland League runners-up Buckie Thistle but won the penalty shoot-out 5-3. Dunfermline Athletic saw off East Fife 2-0 at Bayview.

Christian Doidge hit a first-half hat-trick as Hibernian thrashed Clyde 5-0 at Easter Road. Morton and Falkirk drew 0-0 at Cappielow, with the Bairns winning 5-4 on penalties.
Group E
Dylan Paterson scored in stoppage time as Arbroath upset the odds with a 1-0 win away to St Mirren. Airdrieonians defeated Cowdenbeath 3-0 at Central Park.

Annan Athletic earned a 3-2 win over Queen of the South at Palmerston. Ayr United and Elgin City drew 0-0 at Somerset Park, with Ayr winning the shoot-out 4-3.

Livingston beat Albion Rovers 3-2 in Coatbridge while Inverness CT edged out Kelty Hearts 1-0 at New Central Park.

Simon Murray scored a first-half hat-trick in Queen's Park's 5-2 victory at Stranraer. Dundee ran out 3-0 winners at home to Hamilton Accies.
