Round-up of the opening-day games in the SPFL

Rangers came from behind to beat Livingston 2-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena on day one of the cinch Premiership with goals from Scott Arfield and James Tavernier. It was also 2-1 for Heart of Midlothian against Ross County at Tynecastle. Josh Campbell scored a last-minute goal as Hibernian won 1-0 at St Johnstone and Ash Taylor's stoppage-time goal earned Kilmarnock a 1-1 draw against Dundee United at Rugby Park. Celtic host Aberdeen on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 4.30pm, and St Mirren entertain Motherwell, kick-off 3.00pm.

Partick Thistle kicked off their cinch Championship campaign with a 3-2 victory away to Dundee while Cove Rangers marked their second-tier debut with a 2-0 win over Raith Rovers at Balmoral Stadium. It was 1-1 between Inverness CT and Queen's Park in the Highland capital and that was also the scoreline between Hamilton Accies and Morton at New Douglas Park. Ayr United and Arbroath drew 0-0 at Somerset Park.

Clyde notched up a 4-1 opening-day win over Queen of the South at Palmerston in cinch League 1. Airdrieonians kicked off with a 2-0 win against Peterhead at Balmoor and it was also 2-0 for FC Edinburgh against Kelty Hearts at New Central Park. Dunfermline Athletic beat Alloa Athletic 1-0 at East End Park while Falkirk and Montrose drew 0-0 at the Falkirk Stadium.

Bonnyrigg Rose made a winning start to life in cinch League 2, beating Forfar Athletic at New Dundas Park. It was also 2-0 for Dumbarton at home to Stirling Albion while East Fife defeated Elgin City 3-1 at Borough Briggs. Stranraer beat Annan Athletic 1-0 at Stair Park and it was also 1-0 for Stenhousemuir against Albion Rovers at Ochilview.
