Aberdeen beat Kilmarnock 4-1 at Pittodrie and St Johnstone won 2-1 at bottom club Dundee United.
Leaders Partick Thistle thumped Greenock Morton 5-1 at Firhill in the cinch Championship to stay a point clear at the top. Queen's Park are up to second place thanks to a 1-0 victory over Raith Rovers at Ochilview and Inverness CT moved level on points with third-placed Ayr United after a 1-0 win at Somerset Park. Dundee defeated Hamilton Accies 2-0 at New Douglas Park and it was also 2-0 for Cove Rangers against bottom club Arbroath at Balmoral Stadium.

Stenhousemuir are third following a 4-2 away win over Bonnyrigg Rose and Stranraer are fourth after beating bottom club Albion Rovers 2-1 at Stair Park. Kane Hester scored four times as Elgin City thrashed Annan Athletic 5-1 at Borough Briggs.
