Round-up of today's games in the SPFL...

St Mirren are up to third spot following their 2-1 defeat of Livingston in Paisley while Hibernian are fourth after their 2-0 victory over Ross County in Dingwall. Aberdeen beat Kilmarnock 4-1 at Pittodrie and St Johnstone won 2-1 at bottom club Dundee United.

Leaders Partick Thistle thumped Greenock Morton 5-1 at Firhill in the cinch Championship to stay a point clear at the top. Queen's Park are up to second place thanks to a 1-0 victory over Raith Rovers at Ochilview and Inverness CT moved level on points with third-placed Ayr United after a 1-0 win at Somerset Park. Dundee defeated Hamilton Accies 2-0 at New Douglas Park and it was also 2-0 for Cove Rangers against bottom club Arbroath at Balmoral Stadium.

In cinch League 1, leaders Dunfermline Athletic were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom club Peterhead at East End Park. FC Edinburgh are just a point behind the Pars after beating Montrose 2-1 at Links Park. Airdrieonians went down 1-0 to Kelty Hearts at New Central Park and sit third, with Falkirk in fourth place after a 2-0 home win over Clyde. Queen of the South and Alloa Athletic drew 1-1 at Palmerston.

Stirling Albion closed the gap on cinch League 2 leaders Dumbarton to five points after beating East Fife 2-1 at Bayview while the Sons drew 0-0 with Forfar Athletic at Station Park. Stenhousemuir are third following a 4-2 away win over Bonnyrigg Rose and Stranraer are fourth after beating bottom club Albion Rovers 2-1 at Stair Park. Kane Hester scored four times as Elgin City thrashed Annan Athletic 5-1 at Borough Briggs.
