FC Edinburgh closed the gap on cinch League 1 leaders Dunfermline Athletic to five points thanks to a 2-0 win over Clyde at New Douglas Park while the Pars were held to a 1-1 draw by Queen of the South at East End Park. It was also 1-1 between Falkirk and Airdrieonians while it ended 0-0 between Montrose and Alloa Athletic at Links Park. Kelty Hearts saw off bottom club Peterhead 3-0 at New Central Park.
Dumbarton increased their lead at the summit of cinch League 2 to four points following their 1-1 draw away to Bonnyrigg Rose as closest challengers Stirling Albion lost 3-1 at Stranraer, who move into the play-off places. Third-placed Elgin City defeated Stenhousemuir 2-1 at Borough Briggs and Annan Athletic won 3-1 away to East Fife. Bottom club Forfar Athletic beat Albion Rovers 1-0 at Station Park.
