Aberdeen beat bottom club Dundee United 3-1 at Tannadice in the evening kick-off to climb to fifth in the table.

Dumbarton beat Stranraer 2-0 at Stair Park to stay five points clear in cinch League 2 while closest challengers Stirling Albion edged out Albion Rovers 3-2 at Forthbank. Stenhousemuir leapfrogged Annan Athletic into third place with a 3-2 win at Galabank. East Fife moved above Forfar Athletic after beating the Loons 3-2 at Bayview and bottom club Bonnyrigg Rose won 1-0 away to Elgin City.
