Celtic turn on the style on trophy day

Celtic thrashed Aberdeen 5-0 this afternoon before being presented with the cinch Premiership trophy, which they secured back on Sunday May 7.

SPFL top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi grabbed a double to take his tally for the season to 27 league goals and substitute Hyeongyu Oh also scored twice, with Carl Starfelt netting the other.

Ange Postecoglou’s side finished their title-winning season on 99 points, having scored 114 goals on their way to retaining the silverware.

Heart of Midlothian claimed fourth place, with guaranteed European football, after a 1-1 draw with Hibernian at Tynecastle. Yutaro Oda's early goal was cancelled out by Kevin Nisbet following an Alex Cochrane red card but the hosts held on.

Rangers rounded off their campaign with a 3-0 win over St Mirren in Paisley thanks to goals from Fashion Sakala (2) and Antonio Colak.
