Round-up of today's games in round three of the SPFL Trust Trophy

Holders Hamilton Accies booked their place in the fourth round of the SPFL Trust Trophy thanks to a 3-1 victory over Coleraine in Northern Ireland this afternoon. 

Last season's runners-up Raith Rovers saw off Cliftonville 3-0 at Stark's Park while it was also 3-0 for Dundee United against Dunfermline at Tannadice. Arbroath's upturn in form continued as they reached the last 16 by beating Inverness CT 4-2 at Gayfield.

Queen of the South caused an upset by defeating Partick Thistle 3-2 at Firhill and it was also 3-2 for Airdrieonians against Stirling University at Forthbank.

Greenock Morton beat Elgin City 2-1 at Cappielow and Kelty Hearts enjoyed a 3-1 victory at Dumbarton while Peterhead's long journey to Annan was rewarded with a 2-0 triumph.

Montrose won 2-0 away to Cove Rangers, East Fife hit back to beat Albion Rovers 2-1 at Bayview and East Kilbride knocked out Edinburgh City, winning 4-1 at Meadowbank Stadium.

In the late game, Queen’s Park progressed with a 3-0 away win over Welsh side Bala Town.

Falkirk and The New Saints had already booked their place in round four while Rangers B face Alloa Athletic in the last of the third-round ties on Tuesday September 26.

The draw for the fourth round takes place on Thursday September 14 at 1.00pm and will be live on the SPFL YouTube channel, with ties scheduled for the weekend of October 14/15.
