Hibernian defeated bottom club St Johnstone 2-0 at Easter Road while Dundee and Kilmarnock drew 2-2 at the Kilmac Stadium.

Dundee United returned to the summit of the cinch Championship with a 1-0 win at bottom side Inverness CT while Raith Rovers slipped to second spot after losing 1-0 away to Airdrieonians. Arbroath climbed to third place following a 3-0 success against Partick Thistle at Firhill and Dunfermline Athletic are fourth after beating Greenock Morton 3-1 at East End Park.

Falkirk thumped Kelty Hearts 5-1 at New Central Park to stay top of cinch League 1 while Hamilton Accies are second on goal difference following a 2-1 win at Queen of the South. Montrose are up to third place after a 1-0 victory against Stirling Albion at Links Park. Annan Athletic and Alloa Athletic drew 1-1 at Galabank while Edinburgh City picked up their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw with Cove Rangers at Meadowbank Stadium.

Stenhousemuir lead the way in cinch League 2 after beating Bonnyrigg Rose 1-0 at New Dundas Park. Peterhead are in second spot after winning 1-0 at Dumbarton while Forfar Athletic beat Stranraer 2-0 at Stair Park. Bottom club Clyde moved level on points with Elgin City after defeating Barry Smith's side 2-1 at New Douglas Park. The Spartans and East Fife drew 2-2 at Ainslie Park.
