Greenock Morton continued their fine run of form with a 3-2 victory over second-placed Dundee United in the cinch Championship at Tannadice. George Oakley grabbed a late winner to complete his hat-trick for Dougie Imrie's side. Leaders Raith Rovers suffered only their second defeat of the season and again it came at the Excelsior Stadium as Airdrieonians triumphed 1-0. Third-placed Partick Thistle thumped Arbroath 4-0 at Firhill, with the Red Lichties now bottom of the table on goal difference. Inverness CT earned an important 3-1 victory over Ayr United at Somerset Park to move above the Honest Men.

Falkirk beat Queen of the South 1-0 at the Falkirk Stadium to move eight points clear at the top of cinch League 1 and make it a club record 24 games without defeat. Second-placed Hamilton Accies' game against Stirling Albion at Forthbank was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Third-placed Cove Rangers drew 2-2 with Kelty Hearts at Balmoral Stadium and that was also the scoreline between Annan Athletic and fourth-placed Montrose at Galabank. Alloa Athletic defeated bottom club Edinburgh City 3-1 to move to within a point of the play-offs.

Stenhousemuir defeated Forfar Athletic 2-1 at Ochilview to make it 10 wins in a row and extend their lead at the top of cinch League 2 to 14 points. The Spartans are up to second spot thanks to their 1-0 success at Peterhead while fourth-placed Dumbarton lost 2-1 at home to East Fife. Elgin City beat Stranraer 2-1 at Borough Briggs and bottom club Clyde got the better of Bonnyrigg Rose by 3-2 at New Douglas Park.
