Alloa Athletic are a point clear in William Hill League 1 after a 1-0 home win over Kelty Hearts while Montrose are up to second following a 1-0 victory at Dumbarton. Bottom club Arbroath were 2-0 winners against Annan Athletic at Gayfield. Inverness CT and Cove Rangers drew 1-1 in the Highlands and it was 0-0 between Stenhousemuir and Queen of the South at Ochilview.
East Fife closed to within a point of William Hill League 2 leaders Peterhead after beating the Blue Toon 2-0 at Bayview. Bottom club Forfar Athletic defeated Stranraer 2-1 at Station Park to earn their first win while Bonnyrigg Rose saw off Stirling Albion 2-0 at Forthbank. Clyde and Elgin City drew 0-0 at New Douglas Park.
