Third-placed Ayr United beat Queen's Park 3-2 at Somerset Park while Partick Thistle thrashed Hamilton Accies 5-1 at Firhill to move into the top four. Dunfermline Athletic earned a 1-0 home win over Airdrieonians to leave the Diamonds seven points adrift at the bottom. Greenock Morton scored in stoppage time to edge out Raith Rovers 3-2 at Stark's Park.

Kelty Hearts are the new leaders in William Hill League 1 following their 2-0 win away to Annan Athletic while Arbroath are second on goal difference after beating Cove Rangers 2-1 at Gayfield. Stenhousemuir, who defeated Montrose 1-0 at Ochilview, are just a point behind as are Alloa Athletic, who lost 1-0 at Inverness CT. Dumbarton won 2-1 at home to Queen of the South to climb out of the relegation zone.

Elgin City moved to the top of William Hill League 2 thanks to a 2-1 home win over bottom club Forfar Athletic while Peterhead went down 3-2 to Edinburgh City at Balmoor, with Connor Young netting a hat-trick for the capital club. Clyde saw off East Fife 3-1 at New Douglas Park while Spartans beat Stirling Albion 3-0 at Ainslie Park. Bonnyrigg Rose leapfrogged Stranraer thanks to a 2-1 success at Stair Park.
