Fourth-placed Dundee United defeated St Mirren 2-0 at Tannadice and Hibernian climbed off the foot of the table, at the expense of Hearts, thanks to a 3-0 victory over Motherwell at Fir Park. Kilmarnock and Dundee drew 1-1 at Rugby Park.
