Hearts moved to within three points of the top six with a 3-2 victory over Kilmarnock at Tynecastle. Ross County and Hibernian drew 1-1 in Dingwall while bottom club St Johnstone scored twice in the closing minutes to beat Motherwell 2-1 at McDiarmid Park. Celtic v Dundee was postponed while Dundee United host Rangers on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

Falkirk stay two points clear in the William Hill Championship after winning 2-0 at Raith Rovers while second-placed Ayr United beat Partick Thistle 2-1 at Somerset Park. Livingston, in third, saw off visitors Hamilton Accies 3-0 and Greenock Morton beat Queen's Park 2-1 at Hampden. Bottom club Airdrieonians were 3-0 winners at home to Dunfermline Athletic but are 10 points adrift of the Pars.

Cove Rangers thumped Stenhousemuir 4-0 at Ochilview to move into the top four in William Hill League 1 while Queen of the South are third following their 3-1 home win over Dumbarton. Inverness CT defeated Alloa Athletic 2-1 at the Indodrill Stadium. Annan Athletic and Montrose drew 2-2 at Galabank while the game between leaders Arbroath and Kelty Hearts was postponed.

East Fife are now five points clear at the top of William Hill League 2 after scoring four goals in the last 10 minutes to beat Edinburgh City 4-1 at Bayview while second-placed Peterhead lost 1-0 to Spartans in the capital. Stranraer earned an important 1-0 win away to Forfar Athletic - the Loons are four points adrift of Bonnyrigg Rose, who lost 3-0 at Stirling Albion. Clyde and Elgin City drew 0-0 at New Douglas Park.
