Hibernian saw off Aberdeen 2-0 at Easter Road while Kilmarnock defeated Dundee United 1-0 in the late game at Rugby Park. Bottom club St Johnstone beat St Mirren 1-0 in Paisley. Motherwell host Celtic on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 3.00pm, while Rangers face Ross County at Ibrox.

Ayr United are the new leaders in the William Hill Championship following their 2-0 win away to Hamilton Accies. Dunfermline Athletic beat Raith Rovers 3-1 in the Fife derby thanks to a Chris Kane hat-trick while bottom club Airdrieonians earned a 2-1 home victory over Queen's Park. Partick Thistle and Greenock Morton drew 2-2 at Firhill.

Stenhousemuir moved to the top of William Hill League 1 thanks to a 3-0 win at Montrose, with Cove Rangers in second spot following their 2-1 home victory over Arbroath. Inverness CT beat Queen of the South 1-0 in the Highland capital while Annan Athletic ran out 3-1 winners against Kelty Hearts at New Central Park. Dumbarton and Alloa Athletic drew 1-1.

Elgin City beat William Hill League 2 leaders East Fife 1-0 at Borough Briggs. Second-placed Peterhead are four points behind after being held to a 2-2 draw by bottom club Forfar Athletic at Balmoor. Edinburgh City edged out Stirling Albion 4-3 in the capital to strengthen their grip on fourth spot while Stranraer beat The Spartans 2-0 at Stair Park. Bonnyrigg Rose leapfrogged Clyde thanks to a 2-1 win over the Bully Wee at New Dundas Park.
