Celtic moved 16 points clear at the top of the William Hill Premiership with a 3-0 home win over Dundee United. Aberdeen ended their long wait for a league victory by beating Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park - the Dons are up to third while Dundee drop to 11th. Kilmarnock climbed into the top six after a 3-1 win against bottom club St Johnstone at Rugby Park and Ross County were 3-0 winners at Motherwell. There are two games on Sunday - Hearts face Rangers at Tynecastle (Sky Sports, 12 noon) and St Mirren welcome Hibernian to Paisley (Premier Sports, 2.00pm).

Falkirk remain two points clear in the William Hill Championship after hitting back to draw 2-2 with second-placed Ayr United at a sold-out Falkirk Stadium. Livingston, in third, were held to a 0-0 draw by Dunfermline Athletic. Raith Rovers closed the gap on fourth-placed Partick Thistle to six points by beating the Jags 3-0 at Stark's Park. Hamilton Accies defeated Queen's Park 2-1 at Hampden while Greenock Morton drew 2-2 with Airdrieonians at Cappielow.

Arbroath moved to the summit of William Hill League 1 thanks to a 3-0 victory over Queen of the South at Palmerston. Cove Rangers are second following their 3-1 home win against Annan Athletic. Alloa Athletic climbed to fourth spot after beating Kelty Hearts 2-0 at the Indodrill Stadium while Montrose won 3-2 at bottom club Dumbarton. Inverness CT v Stenhousemuir was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

East Fife are still four points clear in William Hill League 2 despite being held to a 1-1 draw with Bonnyrigg Rose at Bayview as closest challengers Peterhead drew 2-2 with Clyde at Balmoor. Edinburgh City thrashed rivals The Spartans 5-0 at Meadowbank Stadium while Stranraer defeated Elgin City 1-0 at Stair Park. Stirling Albion saw off Forfar Athletic 3-1 at Forthbank to leave the Loons 10 points adrift at the bottom.
