Emmanuel Longelo scored a late equaliser as Motherwell drew 1-1 with Rangers at Fir Park on the first weekend of the William Hill Premiership. Livingston marked their top-flight return with a 2-2 draw at Kilmarnock. There are three games on Sunday, starting with Falkirk v Dundee United (Sky Sports, 2.00pm). Dundee host Hibernian at 3.00pm and it's Celtic v St Mirren at 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports. Hearts face Aberdeen at Tynecastle on Monday, live on Sky Sports at 8.00pm.

Josh McPake scored a hat-trick as St Johnstone thrashed Partick Thistle 5-1 at McDiarmid Park in their William Hill Championship opener. Airdrieonians and Ross County drew 2-2 at the Albert Bartlett Stadium while it was 1-1 between Raith Rovers and Queen's Park at Stark's Park. Morton and Dunfermline Athletic drew 0-0 at Cappielow.

Inverness CT were 3-0 winners away to Kelty Hearts in William Hill League 1 while Queen of the South enjoyed a 2-0 victory at Cove Rangers and Hamilton Accies beat Montrose 2-0 at Broadwood. Alloa Athletic won 2-1 away to Stenhousemuir and Peterhead saw off fellow promoted side East Fife 4-1 at Balmoor.

The Spartans beat William Hill League 2 newcomers East Kilbride 3-1 at K-Park while Stirling Albion defeated Edinburgh City 2-1 at Meadowbank. Annan Athletic edged out Elgin City 3-2 at Galabank and Dumbarton were 2-1 winners at home to Clyde. Forfar Athletic beat Stranraer 1-0 at Station Park.
